STREAM HERE ON APPLE MUSIC
As a byproduct of two hippy parents–this was the music I grew up on, and for that I’m super thankful. There is so much about The Counterculture of the 1960s that I love, and music is a huge part of it. I like to think anyone reading this post is somewhat a neo-hippy. Can you imagine the lengths we’d go to express ourselves and connect with others 50 years ago? Without the Internet??? The sociopolitical climate was just as or even more intense too. The youth really pushed for change and they channeled that through the music. Alas, the spirit lives on. Let these sounds take you through the fabric of time & enjoy the ride!
